Together we typed
a small love story.

Mine was real
and you named it fictional.

She claimed to know me well..
And understand all my problems..
She said she knew me in and out..
And everything what every thought in my heart was about..
Whenever I was in a problem..
She solved it for me..
Whenever I was bullied..
She stood up for me..
That girl had my heart and she wasn't even aware about it..
I always used to listen as she sqealed about the guys handsome..
Staring at her face and thinking how could a loser like me ever confess to this princess from a fandom..
One day, building up my courage ,I finally kept thirteen roses in her locker..
Thinking she would identify her friend's jersey no....
Along with it I kept a typed letter expressing me emotions to her..
Not mentioning my name, I stood behind a corner waiting for her to come..
The scene ripped my heart as she came up with her boyfriend ,kissing each other..
Finally apart, when she opened the locker and saw the letter..
The bastard of a boyfriend asked referring to my gifts,
"How was the surprise, dear??"

Times New Roman,
12point font, double spaced,
a poem in urdu, 250 words.
All my life I haven't known
how blueprint of love looks like.
Shakespeare's sonnets
must have inscribed names
with dried out ink and let
you write love poems.
I have never seen how
thousand symphonies together
sink and even when you don't
write love poems it still
tastes of you always. — % &

around the door,
acting like reasons that
people pretend for.

Why else would the shadow
of a fan expressed in the light
feel like a fighter ✈️,
or a logo,
or a 🐬

उसे प्यारा होने कि गवाही, इतने प्यार से दी...
वह अपने ही बारे में, वहम पाल बैठा।

उसेे सच्चा कहा, इतने विश्वास से सबने...
पगला खुदको मिटा, विश्वास संभाल बैठा।

होकर औरों की ख्वाहिश, जब जीने लगा यूँ
है वही ख्वाहिश केवल, बना खयाल बैठा।

वक्त की अक्स पर झुर्रियां, जैसे ही उभरीं
ज़माना नई नक़ल की, ख्वाहिश पाल बैठा।

समझा बड़ी देर से मंजर, खुदको खोजने निकला
तोड़ पाया ना मूरत, खुदको जिसमें ढाल बैठा।

हार कर आँखों पर पट्टी, तब झूठी ही बांधी
बेवफाई से वफादारी करने का ले जंजाल बैठा।

It's well said that words, spoked-out are Final but Ever wondered about the typed words, emoticons and exclamations...? do they mean or just meme? do they sigh or just a liveless 'Hiii'? do they matter or there could be something better?
