With siblings glued to sitcoms,
We call ourselves as 'potterheads'.
Busy in identifying ourselves with Ron and Lavender,
Without fascination, even magical impulse of Rowling shreds.
Busy with feeds, pins, notifications, updates
And finding who was worst and best dressed.
Virtually stalking the celebs in royale weddings,
Its the magnetism of literature we've messed.
Without the fiction or mythology,
Let's not make our lives a heck.
The pen bleeds to write a beautiful piece,
Let's not allow the attempts of poets to wreck.
I'm sure that Shakespeare's soul will rest in peace...
Only if our youth's interest in literature will increase...
