Sometimes, I just wanna die because I have a fear that I don't make my parents proud. Whenever I talk to them, they never force me for the test's numbers, but I feel their expectations from their voice. I don't know what to do. I'm trying, but competitive exams are not easy. I'm crying and feeling alone, but I don't wanna talk anyone...

As kids we always demanded things.
We all have demanded things from our parents when we were kids.
I was scrolling through my phone and found a list of things I always wanted but never bought.

It was the moment I understood how parents manage the needs of their kids. They never bought things which they wanted l, just to provide things their kids need.

A tearful eye in disguise

Behind a smile, a tear may hide, which is already dried
and a heart that's hurting, deep inside.
Though laughter rings, a lonely call,
Unseen burdens, one may bear all.

We judge by glimpses, never the whole,
The sunlit surface, not the hidden soul.
At a first glance, it is so quick to decide
For what appears, may be a tearful eye in disguise.

They cry over a minor bump or a small cut
Here's a fact, quite overlooked, I see, but...
You have a mom, a calming cushion with a warm hug, soothing & tight..
A dad, a rock, with unwavering might,
Their voice, a cure to all pains, is that not quite right?
