तो कहीं सड़को पे,
चीख रहा बचपन।।
मजदूरी के बोझ तले,
धूल और धुएं के बीच,
कहीं अंधेरों में
चीख रहा बचपन।।
बाल मजदूरी के जंजीरों में।।

I will give you this letter the day...
In morning classes behind wooden desks,
You are forced to rub the childhood out of your eyes,
As history books replace the stories i tell you.

I will hold you close while the headlines on news channels find their way to your ears and infest your flower petal soul.

The tiny girl
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
There lies a tiny girl
Hiding behind the curtain of the door
Standing on the mosaic floor
Hearing their guest's conversation
Peeping through the tiny hole
Of the door's key hole.
Curious to hear
Yet frightened to go near
As her strict mother has asked her
to complete her homeworks
and memorise all her stuffs
as exam was coming near.
Poor the girl was!
forced to follow her
as she is no more a toddler
who could play and enjoy
every moment without any fear
Or who could pass every stages of life
without going to school
Or without the need to appear
any exams with tension &fear.
Now bored with her study
Sitting in her wooden table &chair
She became upset and moody
Looking up above to God
&complaining him that this was not fare
Why we humans have to grow up&bear
so much of troubles, pain and fear?

Somewhere between,
Opening the tiffin on last bench with friends,
To Skipping meals,
Playing hide and seek with friends,
Playing hide and seek with life problems,
We all grew up...

इन नए जूतों में आजकल वो चमक नहीं रहती
वक्त ने सही वक्त देख के बदतमीज़ी की है हमसे

Amidst the silence
There lies the peace and happiness
Amidst those smiles
Lies there a sparkling light
which has the power to brighten up
a tired mind.

Amidst those moody faces
and lots of fighting
There still lies an innocent soul
unware of what's going around
Amidst those tears
Lies inside a caring and a pure heart inside, hidden behind the
curtains of the bone and skin.

I wonder for now
How can one be so innocent and kind?
Was that what one's Childhood is Like?
Was it what's a Child is like?
Which eventually gets Faded
in the hands of Time ,
as Human Life stages to Adulthood
Paving it's own path towards a World
Which is Caged by material possessions
that seems luxurious from outside
But void from inside,
Leaving the Footprints
of Childhood stage behind.

The day i realised i was a human,
I was left no more a human then by becoming the prey of people's pruriency and hunger.....
