i long
for the times
of togetherness
when my heart
wasn't broken
like today.
i miss
being around
the euphoria
of being loved.
all i own now
is a delicate,
and shattered heart.
with a smear touch
of fragility
i'm scared
of all the smiles
from the anonymous
as people
aren't always homes,
most of them
are just catastrophes.

The circled black pepper crushes
under the stone pestle every morn
giving heartaches throughout the
kitchen, dusted with open wounds
and fissures. There's a sound that
slides each time the crack opens
and the air carries dust of spice.

And, every time we break our homes
where we reside and turn it a wasteland,
we become numbered martyrs dusted
amidst the rusted, marooned bricks.

Empty homes feel like houses.

How people are different from houses?
They've veins just like the house's wires,
filled with blood and charges that flows.
Eyes, just like the couple of windows,
which only stares down at silent streets.
Hearts, like empty spaces, filled with
families that only have same beliefs.

How people can become better homes?
By taking care of their blood circulation,
by looking down at singing animals,
and by changing their beliefs one by one.
