Your eyes are beacons of hope:
Guiding light on a hilltop.
Every night, I find my way into
That special cave intoxicatingly filled with
Liquid happiness.

Ten years later...
It was an usual day of monsoon...
But not for her...
She was back in her hometown...
Away from the hustle of her life...
She was back on hill top...
Where she used to sit with the nature...
And spend her time with herself...
She faced the sky closing her eyes...
With her arms open wide...
To hug the nature...
The rain prickled her life...
The breeze healed her wonds...
The strom inside her came to a halt...
She rejoiced the time for she know it will not last long...
She wished to be there for ever...
But it wasn't the right time for her...
After spending her time on the hill top...
She left the place with the promise to came back forever...

// Eagles //

By the ancient temple
Bejewelling a renowned hilltop,
Where people pray
For miracles to happen,
I have watched
Hundreds of eagles
circling in the grey sky.
I wonder what they feed on,
The discarded offerings
Laden with ghee and sweetness,
Or the discarded prayers
Reeking of hopelessness.

Peace

They say they find peace at a hilltop
All the tiredness of hours long trek,
Seems to be gone in a minute once you reach the top
Is that true?
I tried too..
Every minute of the trek regretted taking it up
Ruthlessly climbing, making way on the path
But the quench of peace was more than the tiredness
Curiosity, you see, can make wonders happen.
Reached the top, sunk in the beauty of a hilltop view
Wasn't sure if I found peace there
But realised something that,
That effort you put in the search of peace is similar to your existence
That zeal of wanting to reach the top
And try all those poses you saw on your friend's Instagram
That voice that says you to not stop in between
That is what makes your existence different from you being 'alive'
And the moment you feel alive,
that's what is peace for you!

Current mood:

To forget all the daily hustles for a day,
Should vanish from the people,
Let a backpack and a car become my companions,
Feel the night chills at a new place and finally,
Sit at the hilltop and meditate by receiving the warmth of
the early dawn!!!!!

partially occupied by two nomads;
boycotting each other's face to
witness the panorama of blue
mountains.
Yet it ain't felt like a full stop.
The space between them
draw the unspoken story
and all I could do
was to break the ice that
remained there.
Cause I didn't want to miss the
sunset and that's my story to tell.

It is very painful while you climb up a hillock because it's against gravitational force upwards. You word hard, feel pain, sweat profusely but you don't stop. Then you succed reaching the topmost part of the hill. While coming down it becomes easy and you don't need any pain now because you've already done your part. You just need to hold your cycle and steer downhill.

Myself accompanied by my self
In the tent, on the hill top
Listening to my heart
and at times to the music I love
Reading my mind
and at times to the book I hold.
Exploring the glory of
nature alone is my heaven.

Indeed, an aesthetic view,
Having reached at the top, my soul splendoured,
Feeling the tranquillity of the land lay below,
Never have I been so cheerful than I am today.

The tenderly breeze accompanied by gleaming sunlight,
Touched my inner soul.
My eyes never witnessed such a appealing sight.
Now, can i be underestimated by the height?

All melancholic thoughts seem to be evanescing.
It's so captivating, and land so pious,
It feels like clouds welcomed me,
With their open arms.

The river seems brimming with charm,
The forest's colossal trees,
The scene was full of serene.
I wonder the enigma of nature!

The clouds were resting over the hill,
Covering hill's head like a crown.
The sunshined dazzlingly,
The waterfall sang euphonious songs.

Is it my figment?
It all feels like heaven,
I pinched my skin with a "ouch!"
Oh! I am really in the cloud's couch.

My heart was saturated with ecstasy and commotion.
The revelry made me blind
Of all other pleasures,
It left it's footprints on my mind.
