The Announcement

"Hey, are you coming to the orientation session? Parents are invited there," I asked my mom over phone.

"No beta. Your dad has an important meeting today. We will be leaving the hotel soon to our destination. Take care. Bye," she replied. I wasn't expecting them to come either. I was happy being alone. They came for the fees payment yesterday and stayed at a hotel. Even after repeated requests I denied staying with them and stayed back at my messed hostel.
