Women's Day!
A day, dedicated specially to you.
A day, suddenly you become significant.
A day, when gratitude is shown towards you.
A day, when all heroic moments of you, magically, gets honoured.
A day, when all sacrifices made by you gets acknowledged.
A day, when you are under a momentary limelight.
A day, you get respected.
A day, you, perhaps it's just about you.
A day, you realise, perhaps, this is not what you desired for.
A day, perhaps you acknowledge, you are more than this and you deserve more than this mere facade.

On the top of a hill,
Under the blanket of stars,
Two camping tents facing each other with barely a foot distance apart,
With the tents' door being open, illuminated under the gaze of stars,
Me lying in one with you in another,
We reminisced our first meet,
My antics to get noticed by you,
Your miserable attempts to get my attention,
Our first talk, special moments, our departure,
And meeting you again after all these years.
You extended your hand, to assure yourself of my presence and I, mine to get melted into this happiness.
Our hands intertwined and an invisible thread intertwined our hearts,
Ever so tenderly,
While the night turned magnificent!

I can see a part of me following you behind, leaving me numb.
Even though, there were many things that are circulating in my brain,
to stop you,
to beg you,
my body was unresponsive.
Perhaps, my pride was bigger than the pain of your departure or somewhere,
I just knew, that, this was best for you,
for me and for us.
And I saw, my desperation, crushing down in front of my eyes turning into flames to ashes.

Desolate roads, passing trees, glistering stars and bewitching moon.
Adoring them through casement while gallivanting in bus with headset plugged in.
Perhaps this is what makes night traveling so beguiling.

Assiduous and self belief, always leads to the path of triumph.

Women's Day is not just about esteeming and glorifying women for a day.
It's about accepting her the way she is, treating her the way she deserves it, not caricaturing her just for the sake of one's amusement and most importantly, not criticizing her views, on every single day of life.

She was an art of riddle and he tacit her by passion and endearment.

Loving you was never my decision nor my choice but, letting you go was!

I want to scream. I want to voice out my inner feelings. I want to take a stand for myself. I want to subside my inner turmoil. I want to protest everything I never intended to do. But, I simply can't. I can't because I can never see that soul in pain, who is my world.
