Today its the last day of the year. I guess some of us are filled with regrets of the past, some of us delighted of the new beginnings. We don’t feel the same at all times. Sometimes we’re overflowing with love, at others we feel overwhelmed with emotions 🖤and its okay. You don’t owe explanation for choosing yourself first 💙I hope the new year brings you new opportunities, a new hope, a new love ❤️,a new strength. I cannot say our life will be easy, but I can say we are brave enough to take up new challenges and keep going and that I am proud of you.

Brought about a change!
I wanted to be kind,
To a few things, I acted blind!

It returns back as hurt!

I decided to place myself first,
Even if people would call me selfish and worst!

I walk on this path,
Holding a small bag of dreams,

Walking through these roads so steep!
There is no promised future,
And at the end of the road may be a dead end!
Still I walk forward,
Days when bright sunlight shines admist the trees,
Days when the rain pours on me,
I keep walking through all these!
At the end of my journey,
I don’t need any hidden treasures,
Because those are what are found on the path I walk!
