Every 'first' thing are special to us, first love, first crush, first realisation that I can write poetry, first salary, so as first job, & it was more than half decade I was associated with my first formal job & the organisation. I made memories, friends, brothers. They were less boss or colleagues & more like families. It was a bittersweet experience all along. I couldn't pen down yesterday as I was feeling emotionally wordless.. A five & half years, all the people I left behind, the tea shop beneath the office, meeting my special friend at the Dominos beside our office building in tiffin hour, the church where I prayed at Good Fridays, the first cheque & a cry hugging my father, losing my father & realising the office people are my extended family, the Covid19, fake vaccination camp......everything.... I promise to keep them alive inside the special secret box of my heart. Always..

বারবার শেষ হয়ে আসে প্রিয় কলারটিউন,
দূরে কোথাও ক্ষীণ ভেসে আসে, ' জাগতে রহো',
আঙ্গুলের ফাঁকে লেগে থাকা শেষ বোরোলিন টুকু শুষে নেয় একটা গোলাপি চিবুক,
বেড়ে যায় ব্লকলিস্ট,
নীল,সাদা শাড়িটার পাশে পড়ে থাকে নীলচে কানের ঝুমকো,
কত লোক কথা রাখেনা, আর কত লোক কথা রাখবে বলে জেগে থাকে সহস্র শীত।

Virtual Propose,
Real life propose,
A winter morning,
A summer noon,
A midnight scene in a hill station,
So many office bunk days,
Evening snacks at Maidan,
Meeting my mother,

To
A promise of living together for the rest of life....
I kept on added responsibilities on him,
without thinking anything.
So just a little thank you man!!
