کہیں اور ہی کوئی روپ ہے
کئی چہرے اس میں چھپے ہوئے،
اک عجیب سی یہ نقاب ہے
کہیں کھو دیا، کہیں پا لیا،
کہیں رو لیا، کہیں گا لیا
کہیں چھین لیتی ہے ہر خوشی
کہیں مہرباں بے حساب ہے
کہیں آنسوؤں کی ہے داستاں،
کہیں مسکراہٹوں کا بیاں
یہ جو زندگی کی کتاب ہے
یہ کتاب بھی کیا کتاب ہے
