होठोंकी मुस्कुराहट आँखों में जो आने लगी हैं
लगता हैं खुद से पहली सी मुहब्बत होने लगी हैं

Sometimes I feel
I will need an entire eternity
to learn sharing happiness
because I still haven't learned
writing with a joyous and content heart..

Staring at her plate she was chewing as fast as possible ignoring the knot forming in her throat,
an unexpected beginning of severe headache and struggling best not to let even a drop for tear escape while listening to her husband who was (just!?) denying to her only wish to learn further...
Even after finishing her meal, she couldn't utter a word against his decision
because she was taught to accept whatever her husband says or does by her parents.

पता नहीं ये इत्तेफ़ाक़ है या फिर
सोची समझी साज़िश उस ऊपरवाले की

मुझे लिखना और सुनना तो आता हैं
पर अपनी बात कहना कभी नहीं आया!

और तुम्हें लिखना शायद ही कभी आएगा!
पर तुम सा प्यारा न कोई बोल पाता हैं
न कभी कोई तुमसे बेहतर मुझे पढ़ पाएगा!

आज लिखने को मन में कोई विचार नहीं आ रहा
जहन में किसी का ख्याल नहीं आ रहा
और प्रेरणा बनके आज कोई कली नहीं खिली
ना आसमान में कोई तारा नज़र आ रहा
ना खुशी ना दर्द ना गुस्सा ना प्रेम
क्यों आज कोई भी भावना हृदय से
निकल कर शब्द का रूप नहीं ले पा रहीं?

शायद मेरे अंदर का वो हिस्सा जो लेखक नहीं हैं
वो हर एक चीज को लेखक के नहीं
एक असाधारण होते हुए भी अत्यंत साधारण
नजर आने वाले लाचार मानव की तरह
महसूस करना चाहता हैं।

That Double-edged sword
At times the untuned chord
The promises of all daylight
Might stab thee in midnight

Still, depth must be felt
that heart is bound to melt
The psyche, now guilt flushed
Love for you has to be gushed

I began writing these verses with tears
and I laughed when they were done!

-

"I envy those who died this second", she murmured,
After she was done hearing those accusations on her devotion towards them...
which made her courage bleed till the last drop was gone!

To be able to live life
you need to love 'life'
not 'your life'!

प्रेम से
विरह से
सपनों से
उनके टूटने से
उम्मीद से
नाउम्मेदी से
खालीपन से
वादों से
पीड़ा से
बंदिश से
आजादी से
समाज से
अपनों से
अपने आप से
भय नहीं
अब भय हैं
तो सिर्फ
भयभीत होने से
