Every single day
We look at each other
Sometimes filled with rage
But its not us
It's the negativity in our veins
We're encouraging each other
To be filled with pain
The lies we tell
To lessen our gains
That hold us back
From knowing our true strength
Why do we choose
To not make change
These are our people
Born from slaves
Taken from homes
To be puppets to the game
And not owning your wage
Then they want to call you insane
But nah family let's take a stand and make a change
So we can outgrow this frame
And bring a better life
To the next generation that can walk without our burdens and chains
We are stronger together and better without the drugs in our brains.

Time to help people with depression
People thats looking in the wrong direction
Drowning in fears and acting reckless
We can help anybody if we only took a second
To lift up and band together and pass along positive lessons
It won't hurt, it will only heal
To save a life and not kill
We can do this because God keeps us calm and still
Let's change the world with the love, faith, and say I can and I will

Our location is not as important as our direction

The past taught us a lot especially negative lessons
Memories one day we'll forget so we can start remembering our blessings
So look to God as He's our testament
Without Him we're just walking around not paying attention.
But if we do we'll see the love and peace for all and strengthen our connections.
