Weaving through the crossroads
Your eyes touch my heart

क़ुरबत में पूछो तो अपनी ख्वाहिशें बयान करूँ

हर लम्हा तेरे इंतज़ार में गुज़र जाता है तन्हा
इन तन्हाइयों का बता मैं कैसे एहतेराम करूँ

बेखबर सी ख्यालों में खोयी रहती हूँ मैं
इजाज़त हो अगर ये तन्हाइयां तेरे नाम करूँ

कुछ किस्से मैं कहती हूँ
कुछ वो सुनाया करता है
चाँद चुपके से रातों को
मेरी छत पर आया करता है

वो आँखों के झरोखों से
दिल में बस जाया करता है
सोयी सोयी सी रातों में
वो ख्वाब जगाया करता है

मैं उसमे खोई रहती हूँ
वो होश उड़ाया करता है
एक मीठी सी मुस्कान दे
वो नींद ले जाया करता है

बेदर्द जमाने को दर्द बताने से डर लगता है
होश यूं आए हैं कि अब होश में आने से डर लगता है

राह चलना चाहती है और रोक लेती हूं मैं कदम अपने
सफ़र से मोहब्बत है अब मंजिल को पाने से डर लगता है

छुपा लेती मैं चांद को भी अपनी आंखों में कैद करके
ये दुनिया इस कदर बदलती है पलक झपकाने से डर लगता है

है मायूस अगर आसमां तो तारों की ख़ता कैसी
इलज़ामों के इस शहर में घर बनाने से डर लगता है

सर्द निगाहों से अब मैं शमा महफ़ूज़ रखती हूं
उजाले में भी चिरागों के बुझ जाने से डर लगता है

मैं खुद को आंख बंद करने की इजाज़त नहीं देती
वक्त के साथ साथ साये के ढल जाने से डर लगता है।

Peeping past my shoulder I see a void
An empty path shouting, calling out for life
I hurl towards voices, searching for a crowd
I run away, far away, a name echoes loud

Treading cautiously, I move forward through these woods
This world keeps burning, I'm in search of some flood
Some noises, some voices, I see some spark
A switch goes off, it's once again dark

A soft weeping sound emerges from my soul
I'm back at the beginning, I'm once again alone.

टेढ़ी मेढ़ी सड़कों पर
थम थम कर चलना नहीं जानते हैं जो कदम
गिरते पड़ते चल देते हैं रोज
मंजिल की तलाश में— % &एक वक्त आता है
जब सब कुछ थम सा जाता है
जैसे एक हवा भरा गुब्बारा
तैरता है स्तब्ध, तनावग्रस्त
और चुभती हैं परिस्थितियाँ उसे
एक विस्फोट के प्रयास में— % &निर्जन है मन,
सुसुप्त है संवेदनाएं भी
आह निकल जाती है
बंद मुट्ठी खुलने पर
श्वास विराम लेते हैं
इस स्याह आकाश में

Let me not drown into the whirlwind of emotions
It's so dark, deep and tragic inside
I wish to be not left alone in the ocean
I don't want to witness the death of the night.

With every passing bit my light is getting dim
My eyes are getting heavy with the weight of my plight
With a hunger to live, I plea to unknown
There's no one to listen and push me to light.

Moving any deeper, it only gets worse
I ask from the darkness a bit of light
This, now, here, is when everything ends
I'm lost in the darkness, I'm losing the fight.

~ तलाश

मैं हूँ स्पर्श
हवा का
जो आज भी
सैकड़ों लोगो के पास से
होकर गुजरती है
तुम्हारी तलाश में
और तुम खो गए हो कहीं
उन बादलों की तरह
जो बह चले थे
हवाओं के साथ,
जुदा होने के लिए
एक सफर के बाद......

सफर रह गया है
कुछ अधूरा सा
ये हवाएँ आज भी है
सिर्फ तुम्हारी तलाश में......

I'm feeling lost,
like a raindrop in sea
There's a dread I didn't know before,
now it's flowing out of me
I'm floating, to steer clear
Out of this drowing maze
I get stuck more and more
A fire gets ablaze
The voices sound too distant
Yet they're all clear in my head
When I try to draw them on paper
My pen breaks down to shreds
Silence hangs in the air
There's no sound of harmony
On the gloomy night's woes
It's silence that screams.
