Before resuming my onward journey.

To smell the air,

Be it a train journey or a box of food

Be it a rainy day when you both got drenched
Or a bike accident or
The late night conversations.
The scent of places and times
Fading and surrendering to time,
Slowly becoming a forgotten epoch.

Saw, and lived.




I listen, embrace,
Experience, and breathe.

Meeting you was a turning point.
The beginning of unlearning what
I've known ever,
A new chapter.
I wouldn't be writing about love if
We were two strangers destined
To meet in a different life.
I'd still be thinking of the pain of losing
As love,
Suffering in silence is love,
Not being myself is love.

Being patient with myself for you
