I stood wobbly at the brink of annihilation of my heart,
With already known fate rending it apart,
Placing me and my esteem on the edge,
I stayed for the never-endured love on the narrowest ledge.
I, the knight, and I ought to protect the queen,
Still, I got on my toes,
Instead of sword, I brought up the rose!
I gazed up and exclaimed,
'Was I the one to be blamed?'
At the end, it was me with my ruins of heart and pieces to never settle,
I did what I can and lost this sweet devastating battle."
