As the drums of your heart
Played intricate rhythms
Through your eyes,
The deserts of my despair
Bloomed once again,
For my heart understood those words
That never even left your lips.
Rejoice or resent - my mind wavered
And yet again, I was filled with chaos.
But it all ended well, with you
Running into my arms
And making me realise
Your love is all I need, and
"Happily forever" wouldn't just be a dream.

Deep as the ocean and dark as a dungeon,
Turning inwards to find those answers
Vile thoughts welcome you in
Followed by fear and despair
Swimming through the stench, searching
For a ray of hope
But fret not if you fail to find it
We all have our days, good and bad
What counts is the will to pursue
The things you're terrified of, and beat them
To a pulp to say "You've been beaten here today,
And I'll be back tomorrow too."

"Always hide your feelings,
And do not be original"
Said no one ever, yet that's
The one thing that most of us
Keep doing, till we're over.
Feelings make you human,
To be what you are now
But what's left of most of us is
An empty, broken vessel of sorrow.
You can choose to show it off
Or lock it in the deepest of depths
But remember, nothing's wrong
When it's the heart that sings a song.

"..If I can make their day a little less complicated even in the most unnoticeable way, I'll do it for sure 'coz that's who I am."

It was her first gig as a wedding photographer.

And that's when he came into focus.

The next day, his photograph was in the headline that read "Man brutally murdered by mystery serial killer".

What would you do if the world
Counted on you for its survival?
If you were the only one
That could save this world
From an impending doom
Would you move mountains, or
Part seas, just to feel broken
By watching them fight for things
That are nothing but petty?
Would you still save them knowing
That you are just postponing
The dreadful destiny that awaits?
Now tell me again, if you had to choose
Between the world and yourself
What could be possibly done
And why would you choose you?

"O God, bestow upon thy humans an elixir that will give us the power of immortality, that will make us live forever", he asked Him.

And God filled their minds with kindness.
