I am caught
somewhere in between
the east and the west
childhood and womanhood
the past and the future..
I am caught
between courage and pride
poems and prose
chaos and peace
dawn and dusk..
I am caught
in the society's strangled words
between worry and ease
the good and the bad
like lost in a spaceless haze..
I am caught
in hope of a beautiful world
a thoughtless thought
scattering unbeholden
like a shooting star...

कोई रंग नहीं होता
बारिश के पानी का..
फिर भी फिज़ा को
रंगीन बना देता है..

Laughter illuminated the darkness in me,
A place where dreams are made and I feel carefree.
This complex magic of nature blazes my eyes,
Like a vast dark universe behind the shelter of sky.
Living with the expectation walls have taught me a lot,
People will come and go, no need to wander back.
The empty spaces were where I used to lay,
But I guess happiness can be found you just need to stay.

I'm walking alone like a lost wanderer,
Remembering the precious times of childhood with unstoppable chatter.
It's amazing how things change and one can't find happiness,
Like it dawns on me quickly and I slip into a parallel universe.
A universe which is full of laughter, light and learnings,
I will walk this road alone stumbling and falling.

The sodden earth,
The flowers, the dusty roads
And the round moon
Bared all storms the four seasons bring.
But you were something more.

What is that feeling when you recede dispersing to the next crazy venture in a misty fog and cross eternity...

फुर्सत ही महंगी है,
वरना सुकुन तो इतना सस्ता है
कि चाय की प्याली में मिल जाता है।

Starting from the day,
When I first saw this man in blue
Of which I had no clue.
It was in 2007 T 20 world cup,
The man with long hair and I had this closeup.
I got addicted to his batting style,
That helicopter shot and his gentle smile.
He is perfect in all the international formats,
And looks calm and composed in every match.
The God of cricket accolades him as the best captain one can have,
Inspiration to millions and contrition as less.
You will always be called as Captain Cool,
Who bought this team from a verdant pool.
Thank you for this contribution you did for the country,
And till my last breath
I will cheer MSD MSD.

पांवो के लडखडाने पे तो सबकी है नजर,
सर पे कितना बोझ है कोई देखता नहीं।

This poem is about the one who endow my existence,
My mother, my maa and unceasingly there to give me guidance.
From my babyhood till here,
You were eternally there in my trice of fear.
The beauty, the grace and the allurement you behold,
Understanding everything before I say or do and treasuring all your scolds.
Those comforting word of yours heal all my wounds,
I am thrilled and blissful when you are around.
Your love is pure without any boundaries or expectations,
You embolden the confidence in me and there are no complications.
If I have seen God than it is in you,
My strength, my backbone and will reminisce you in everything I do.
