There are days I wished
I could call you mine.
There are days
I wished I could hug you so tight.

There are days
I wished I could lay by your side.
Counting stars
All through the night.

Most of all
There are days...
I wish I could kiss your tender lips
As you hold me close
Like lovers on their first sight...

My dearest homey
Always remember this
I know we will never be together.

But, everytime I write you a poem...
Your name will always be sofly whispered
Like a sweet memory
For in this poets heart
You will forever be embraced.

7 years later,
Spoke with the one I truly loved.

After keeping the call
I realised it was not just me
But he too who was broken afterall.

I sighed
As I looked above with swelled up eyes
And saw destiny smirking.

That's when I realised
It would never be.

What an irony...

'Cause 7 years later,

Just to realise
He was never meant to be mine.

But, I'll always promise to love you
Whenever you're at your worst.

If there are days
You feel so broken
Just remember
Meeting you after many years
My faith has awoken.

Just to scribble a few words here and there

Every year,
When the monsoons arrive.

It's weighs heavily within me,
'Cause that's when we said our final goodbyes.

I remember crying bitterly,
In the pouring rain,
When you left.

Convincing myself,
Probably that is the cost one pays,
When falling in love one - sided.

My sorrows,
Grow deep,
For they rarely,
Let me sleep...

And...
My nights go in vain,
As I lay awake,
Always bleeding in pain.....

When I love,
I'll love with all my heart..

But,
When I hate,
I'll tear you apart from inside out..

To my friend who thinks,
That he will never be in love.

See through my eyes once in a while,
Then you will see,
All the reasons you deserve love...

For my poetry merely doesn't come
Just by sinking into your eyes..

It comes,
'Cause your eyes hold depths,
Of a love that's never been confessed.

And sink myself in poetry....
