I thought I had nothing left to seek
Nothing to bother me or make me feel incomplete

The climb kept getting higher and higher,
I didn't know when this journey would tire

Fortitude, they say can make you or break you
Dauntless as you may be; you need this virtue!

But I knew one thing, that held me right together
The fortitude we have; the grit that makes us, get better!

Persistence
Persistence is the ability to never say no
No, to that voice that always wants you to hold on or grow.

Persistence never looks for stress,
But always surprises you with some progress

Persistence requires a great amount of strength
Making use of it; only you will yield at length!

Persistence, persistence; is so hard to retain
No wonder you find yourself only with gains

Persistence is a quality that will take you quite far
Believe in its magic, it can make you a star!

Courage is a voice that is unknown
Until we need it, it never is shown

When at our weakest and hardest times
The virtue of bravery is extremely divine

Courage is just a plunge in the deep
That depth you may never ever even reach.

With pride alone can you pull yourself together
Courage alone has made you far better!

Life, maybe is just a mirage of vice
Of, how we think it should be organised

Longing for an answer, craving for a solution
Maybe, its just one more forgotten surprise!

Beguile one more day; yet one more day
Let go of this delusion, let it fritter away.

Quieting Your Inner Critic

Fear,fear of failure; of rejection, of being alone;
Of doing anything innovative and creative -essentially we all are just doubting ourselves, stuck into believing what we think we can or cannot do!
Our inner, critical voice - so loud, verbose and vicious;
Is such a good motivator, motivator to psychological soundness!
It is easier said than done to show ourselves compassion;
But we have to be kind, kinder to our emotions!
Hush, Hush inner voice - your being too loud...
One thought at a time, is only allowed!

Echoes of our conversation... we spoke in fickle yet whimsical manners;
Replay on my cognisance and I’m lost in this unsettling clamour.
Yet, I have to pull myself together - there is no other way out!
It has to work out some way... it has to turn about!

This would make a difference

Some might say that I may be useless, but TRUTH be TOLD that it may be Wrong!
I could be that one, hidden in the crowd, obscured at the party or even unheard behind that song!

A quiet and hidden writer, observing it all;
Dilly-dallying what she wants when no one is there to see her downfall.

A comparison of sorts to bands of all sorts, who etch their fame through meaningless lyrics, sleepy songwriting
But, yet theirs so much inspiration and drive behind Oasis’s Wonder wall and so many other hits that that just rolled with it

So, when you’re that famous and casual expressions become words etched on stones, it’s easy to give it while you're the one behind the mike singing “Where were you while we were getting high”?

The life of a singer is more than just that glamour –
It’s just a lucid dream and when you wake up there’s a direct reflection of the changing dynamics of the band.
