and end up regretting
wasting the saved time on stupid things..

निकल के आते है अंत मे फिर हर उन सवालो के जवाब
जो हमको कहानी के दौरान काटने दौड़ते रहते है..

बचपन से आगे उम्र का अगला पड़ाव तय करना कुछ ऐसा ही होता है,
जैसे दूर से सुंदर नज़र आ रहे पहाड़ को करीब जाकर देखना..

क्यों ही दिखे किसीको मुझमें उम्मीद की कोई एक वो किरण,
दूर तक से दिखता नहीं अब वो मुझमें छिपा
खुद की आशाओं का पहाड़..

जो सभी के साथ अच्छे होते है ना
वो किसीसे भी वफ़ादार नहीं बन पाते..

How ambivalent it feels like when you realise,
the person once used to be so close to you
still lives in the same world as you
yet so far
it's amazing how small is this world and
how everyone make their own little world in it..

कितना सुंदर रिश्ता है हर उन पेहर का एक दूसरे के साथ,
जहाँ नहीं पहुंच पाती सुबह वहाँ शाम पहुंच जाती है-
नहीं पहुंच पाता दिन वहाँ रात पहुंच जाती है.

कितना लगाव है इंसान को अपने अहम् से,
जाने ही नहीं देता खुद से दूर उसको
करने को तबाह किसी और को..
