Lived thousand times over
Sunset concludes scene

How to make choices
With different strokes

Showering love over fields
Bestowing wrath to deserts
Warming up to fruits
Shying away from whites
Like a new bride
Even the sun knows
What hue to use
To colour the world

If only you knew how
to colour me
I would call you
....my SUN 🌞

A really brave thing I did was
Give in to the treachery called Love

Not every grain of sand
Will hide your pain
Though mud will at least blur it
I wouldnt settle for that
And then there is Salt
That mingles
with the chaos
Creating a dish
palatable.
Love was my Salt.
So I thought.
Blending you into an
already pressured vessel
Mixing you up
With my textured life
Oh ! I know!
It was too much
Even for the likes of you.
No matter how much
You've tried
Salt doesnt easily
Loose its saltiness.
And it cannot be separated
From its generosity

I even crumbled myself to pieces

But then the zephyr

Leaving the festered bits for self healing
Decrepit promises
Guffaws at perjurers
'honorable' Pursuit.

Avond (evening)

We, Pie-eyed, so into each other
Sloshed with muddled memories
Found Liquid courage
On sandy shores
Of the Red Avond Ocean
It was our Giggle Juice
Our Tipple
Our Moonshine

I took not the time to stop and enjoy~
Gulped off that cup
like a Bubbly Shooter
Childish.....Nay.....Foolish
Meanwhile
You veiled me from torrents
As if it were Poisoned Hooch
Saved me from Rotgut
Yet how?
Before our Nightcap
Could that identical Avond breeze
Sweep me
into anothers lap

My Adamant Heart
Had Outwitted
My Sagely Soul

As the orange seed
Burries itself quickly
Into the earth's bossom
My Bedouin heart
Longs to be free
Of worldly maelstrom
To make it thus far I did seek
Verily I to myself I must say
Its halfway into the week
