Black women are less likely to report abuse than women of other races. Here are a few specific reasons why this may be so, they don't want to break up the family, they don't want him/her to be arrested again, and FEAR of what the POLICE might do to their abuser when called.

Guess what? YOUR abuser knows you won't report for those reasons. Your abuser isn't thinking about any of those thoughts when they're ABUSING YOU. DON'T YOU!
