Sometimes when I am alone I often think about the feeling of how our parents still believe that we are naive and immature. Unfamiliar about the harshness of the people and just the world around us.

If only they could hear how deep our conversations are with our friends, how night takes away our smile and the light of our eyes that shines so bright in the daylight.
The giggling sounds of our laughter,
and how we are truly aware of reality for how often we think and plan our future.
Almost to the fact, where the anxiety takes our breath away.

But at the end of the day, they still can't be blamed for the facades we hold behind, to keep them happy. Somewhere, it's all a cycle in the end.

पर शायद ही, ऐसा कोई देखा होगा,

पत्नी को लाश में तब्दील होते देखा ।।

रूह कांप गयी लोगो की,
खून से सना जब रोड देखा,
जय जगन्नाथ ! जय जगन्नाथ ! सुनाई दिया तभी :
मैंने उल्टा रथ, प्रभु की आते देखा ।।।।

Happy Friendship Day to those who were there in my ups' and downs' , odds' and evens' , good and bad(sometimes worse). No matter if we are connected or not, we talk or not ; what really matters, U are my frnd and i'll be by your side.

I really don't believe in 'Best Friend'ship, bcoz i feel all my frnds are different. They can't be prioritised, up to down, but side by side. If you are my frnd, no one but only we know what we have deep within. Happy Friendship Day to all such friends.

There are people, who shouldn't be wished on Friendship Day, as everyone in this zone is 'Bhai', but yes the world calls them 'Friends/Yaar', So, Wishing my all Bhais' Happy Friendship Day. We don't need to be frnds for years but spending some time together and getting the vibe, can lead to 'Marne maarne ko taiyyar hai'. Stereotypical yet true, Yes they are boys 🤞

Sometime back, i posted a quote : " If you help me someday, consider yourself as my friend. Bcoz i take help from friends and not make friends for help ". Now, greeting Happy Friendship Day to all of those people who helped me throughout my life.

SO MANY DIFFERENCES.

You like hot coffee and I like cold drinks,
You love chocolates and I love ice creams,
I prefer black and you choose baby pink,
And with so many differences we still fit in.

I like dark nights but you love day dreams,
I am fond of music and you go for dancing,
I'm old school but you follow what's trending,
So many differences but still tied in same string,

You crave for beaches and I long for mountains,
I play with puppies and you pick up the kittens,
I take away cheese but you salivate for chickens,
So many differences but we still choose to stick in.

For me dusk is perfect and to you dawn is pleasing,
I like chills of winter and you love blossoms of spring,
We value our company more over these little things,
That's why in spite of many differences we still fit in.

A BLANK PAGE

The blank page on the table
Compelled me to write
About the things that happen
Without my might.

Like the shining of the Sun
And the twinkling of the stars,
The heaven-like beauty
In the universe spread so far.

About mother nature
And her creatures.
From gigantic masses,
To the melee miniatures.

And also the bitter truth
Of death, decay and age.
So much,
On just a blank page.

THE SOUL

Caged them in,
In a cage called body,
Granted them power,
To turn pure from shoddy.

Gave them emotions,
To feel hatred and love,
Blessed them with sense,
From the heaven above.

Taught them to lead,
And take affairs under control,
Sent them with a motive,
With an ambition and a goal.

Kept them inside,
Made limitations and restrictions,
To prevent damages,
Losses and destructions.

They have curbs,
They are souls afterall,
Locked inside bodies,
Within boundaries and walls.

खुश नसीब हूँ कि ऐसा बेटा मिला,
