What has she been doing, what has she become
Instead of building up, she has come undone.

Being that one person , who wants to please all
She's down and she's broken, she's taken a huge fall.

She loves so hard, she's a dedicated friend
When it comes to herself, the pain just doesn't end.

She's keeping it all bottled, not letting a drop out
She's always so chirpy, you'd seldom see her pout.

Don't scrape the surface, don't you try to lift the mask
For she'll weep like a baby, if you as much as ask.

It consumes her to the core, each day she still gets up
She's tired of it all, she's so close to giving up.

THE GARDENER

She was a bit too wary
For she was planted in a new garden,
She was kinda windy
For she was left out to harden.
Then came the gardener
And he saw the petrified sapling,
He reached out and got her settled
As the fire started crackling.
He tended to her everyday,
With so much fervor, without fail.
She blossomed into a beautiful flower
From a sapling which was pale.
She bloomed and grew and thrived ever since
For she got the love and care
For that my friend you need a gardner,
The one she got was rare.

I've outgrown my cocoon,

I've changed from being a glacier
Frozen in its path,
I've started flowing like a river
Ready to show her wrath.

I've changed from a sapling
That withers in the storms
I've built a trunk so thick,
That holds my roots strong

I've changed from the little girl
My parents used to coddle,
I've grown to be the women
Ready to support her role models.

And need not shut the door.

Just because it didn't work
Doesn't mean you cease to care,
It only makes you human
And I guess, it's only fair.

Just because you could not make
All the dreams come true,
Relish in the fact that you lived it
Even if it went askew.

A Blessing

She was alone she thought,
She had a war going in her head,
She was battered and broken
She was lost and defeated...
But then,
She felt a hand, holding her finger.
A hand tapping her cheeks .
Then a pair of arms,
engulfing her in so much love
that she has never felt before.
A little bundle of joy,
took all that loneliness,
all that grief away, and
Smiled that toothless smile
that made her heart melt.
She found a blessing
disguised as an angel in her arms,
that no one can take away from her.
A blessing that she'll never let go.

When would it be over?
Where does it end?
All those lies,
That you always defend,
Excuses that follow,
I can't comprehend.
The trust that is broken,
Would it ever mend?
The road that we follow
Has another bend,
It has another story,
For this, it is the end.

When the time comes, to self-introspect
We recall lots of memories, all important aspects.

In those times of misery, you're left all alone
You cherish those who stayed, and Mourne the ones gone

In those times of dispair, you reflect on your deeds
Where you lost the battle, who sowed the first seed

For those who sow love, Shall reap the sweet fruit
But in this wicked world, there's plenty awaiting loot.

For those who say that karma, bites you in the back
But even with good deeds, all you get is whack.
