The darkness gives me a kind of solace which brightness can't give
Somewhere fighting for light and darkness I lost myself
Somewhere between smiling and wanting to cry, I grew up
Somewhere between getting hurt and acting as if it doesn't pain at all, I learnt to smile
Somewhere between racing the future and forgetting the past, I lost my today
Somewhere between being a kid and yet being matured, the child in me is gone
Somewhere between arguing and keeping calm, I surrendered myself to silence
Now I know someone whom I don't know
A lil bit complex yet sorted girl
A girl who loved noise now prefers to stay quite
A girl who used to laugh a lot, now just smiles with tears in her eyes
Amongst all this, I grew up to an understanding person,
Who could be relied on and who can be easily cheated
