The school walls long to hear children’s noises,
Waiting once again to hear their happy voices
The school bells wait to ring,
Wishing once again to hear the children merrily sing
The corridors crave to hear the noise of trampling feet,
Desiring to see the children rejoice when after long they meet
The blackboard and desks yearn to be scribbled with names,
Of naughty children who in the class play mischief games
The classes eagerly await to have a glance,
Of children going back home as they gleefully dance
The dull empty school desires to be brightened,
And once again relive the days forgotten...

The hospital walls rebound,
With cries and melancholic sound
Draped in blue jerseys,
The saviours look up desperately for God’s mercy
Through their eyes helpless tears flow,
As they keep fighting with their heads hung low
Working endlessly through mournful days and sleepless nights,
They encounter each day sorrowful deaths and painful sights
The darkness seems to have no ending,
Still they stand strong and keep defending
Their minds fill up with silent fears,
And just one word they seem to hear
Oxygen,oxygen and oxygen!

Dear India,
I feel so upset to see you suffering today,
Loosing lakhs of precious lives everyday
But you have fought this virus bravely,
Though your economy has suffered gravely
I feel sorry to see my motherland in distress,
Though my pain I fail to express
My eyes do cry in silent tears,
Thinking about your future fills me up with fears
I pray for you to get well soon,
Stand up again and make us proud soon...

Yeh safar mushkil hai dost,
Par tumhe koshish karte rehena hai
Aane wali har kaato se ladhna hai,
Har musibat ka samna karna hai
Akhir ek din tum zarur jeet jaoge,
Apni manzil hasil kar paoge
Par tab tak bas chalte rehena hai,
Khud par yakeen karte rehena hai...

While if it tastes good
Time to open your happiness hood!!

Mushkilein aayenge, aane do
Log chod jayenge, jaane do
Tumhe aage badhte chalna hai
Baar baar gir kar sambhalna hai
Lekin mat mano apni haar
Chunautiyan aane do hazaar
Akhir haar mein hi jeet hai
Aur yahin zindagi ki reet hai...

O mere dost,
Kabhi to khud par kar yakeen tu,
Kyun shak karta hai apni kabiliyat par?
Kabhi khud se pyaar karna bhi sikh,
Kyun nafrat karta hai apne aap se?
Kabhi khudko bhi izzat diya kar,
Kyun hamesha sar jhuka kar chalta hai?
Kabhi khulkar bhi has liya kar,
Kyun chupata hai apni wo pyaari si muskan?
Kabhi khudko bhi apna dost bana le,
Kyun hai tu khudse hi paraya?

Goodbye 2020
Like other years you came and went
Through great sufferings you made us lament
You will be remembered by a very few
But somewhere our bonds did grew
Spending time with loved ones was fun
A lot of lessons we did learn
Your journey was full of sorrow
But we do look forward for a better tomorrow
Indeed very fast time did flew
But before you depart I bid you Adieu!!
