Joint burning
Here I am
Again toking

Night fell
Dark surrounds
All is well
Silence astounds

Grass moves
Night crawlers
Out of view
Creatures smaller

Cars pass
Headlights bright
Burning gas
Cruising tonight

Cold air
Settling around
Take care
Going inside now

Some daze


Some days I lose myself in you
Sometimes I fall right over my feet
Some of the time it's my tongue I trip on
And then I must take a seat

Often I find myself daydreaming of you
Caught in the moment with no control
It seems visions of you permeate out of my eyes
I am convinced and you have me sold

Sudden chills race up and down my spine
Goosebumps raise all over my body
My heart sputters and flutters wildly
But the energy I enjoy quite nicely

If I could capture this feeling forever
Remember it for this life and beyond
That's all I would ever need then
I would be happy after I am gone

Sun is shining bright
Wind is very calm
Summer is so close
Warmth creeps upon

Spring arrived blooming
Flowers are everywhere
Red , yellow and orange
Nature, extraordinaire

I'm writing this randomly
Whatever comes to mind
It's just rambling really
I hope nobody will mind

Mysterious and unusual

Elegant and beautiful

My senses go berserk
Reaching maximum levels
It certainly is a perk
Your energy boldly travels

Something surrounds you
Making everyone feel happy
You send out love grooves
Doing it oh so very classy

Sparkling and glimmering
Like a diamond you shine
Enchanting and shimmering
You look decadent and divine

Lost in admiration and awe
You are exquisitely radiant
Your piercing gaze is raw
I'm left helpless and weakened

Some purple hyacinth bloomed
Several flowers very nice
I snapped a photo of them
Spring has arrived to entice

Thoughts of you arise
Memories of us replay
Moments that made us happy

Every evening we said goodnight
Mornings we awoke together
Dinners and meals we shared
Cherished and remembered forever

How I wish to be with you
How I pray it happens soon
Days I can no longer bear
At night I request it from the moon

It's raining cats and dogs
Out come toads and frogs
This is great for the hogs
Birds sing like a jukebox

Just after nine at night
I'm having a cigarette
Sitting on the front deck
Phone connected to the internet

A coffee beside me too
Two sugar and two cream
Nicotine and caffeine both
And THC to complete the theme

Not many cars traveling
The roads are very empty
Streetlights are shining now
For your thoughts , I have a penny

The rain has begun falling
Sounds more like ice pellets
The forecast did say hail
Which usually means the opposite

Music is playing as I write
Red hot chili peppers on now
Their song called Aeroplane
As for this poem I will say Chow
