The leader predator lying in its sick bedstead.
Junior ones preparing for the hunt,
Their hunger satisfied, but their leader burnt.

MOUNTAINS
Step by step,
I climbed slowly.
As the gravity tried to pull me down,
I went on climbing against it.

There was the small temple,
As soon as I reached the top.
I completed my prayers,
And went on to the peak.

Siblings of the mountain surrounded me.
Wild bright flowers grew between its cracks
And colorful birds and insects chatted away
While wild animals moved stealthily.

Fog collected on the top
And I looked down through the haze
A small lake surrounded by tiny houses
Lush green farms arranged like a puzzle.

The mountain was lush green
Like a soft blanket of grass
Thriving of life as fresh air took my breath away
For rains had just passed
And winter was on its path.
