To just like something ;

And not let it consume
You wholly.

A tortured riddle or
A hidden treasure chest
Of fascination.

The isolated moon
Isn't a reflection of your soul
And carnations don't blossom
On your fingerprints.

Your heart pumps blood
And your bones are rigid.

And you're not as singular
Or alone in the way you
Assume you are.

They say nothing lasts longer,

But they're just sacred
It will last longer
Than they can love it.

I wish I could show you
When you are lonely
Or in darkness;
The astonishing light
Of your own being.
