तुम कैसे मेरे किरदार को कुछ पंक्तियों से परख लोगे,
ये तो मेरी अनगिनत भावनाओ में से बस कुछ चुनिंदा वाक्य से है।

इस कदर छुपे हो तुम मेरी ख़ामोशियों में कि अब मैं अपने अल्फाज़ ही भूल चुकी हूँ।

कहते हैं समय सब भुला देता है, पर ज़रूर कुछ अपने किरदार के पन्ने भी हम भुला बैठते हैं।

वो हसी और वो नादान ठिठोली, सब समेट लिया मैंने इन ख़ामोशियों में, कि अब बस मोम की तरह पिघलने के खौफ़ मैं हूँ।

जो परस्पर व्यथा ही देता है।
इसी के विपरित यदि आपके अंदर ज्ञान का प्रकाश रहे तो बाहर अंधकार नज़र आता है..
जो जीवन में संसार को प्रकाश पूर्ण करने का उद्देश्य देता है।

मैंने तो बस रात ही देखी..
क्या जानु मैं क्या बसेरा,
मैंने तो बस दहलीज़ ही देखी..
और क्या जानु मैं अस्तित्व मेरा,
मैंने तो मेरे लिए बस नज़रिए ही देखें..।

कि जैसे रंग मेरा फीका सा हो जाता है..।
