But because you want the validation of either your ownself , maybe your love , maybe your parents

Nobody "is" good everybody "acts" good .
And to be honest that's fine , that's just how the world works
Every person in this world one way or another is good and bad to any other person and that is implied from a common British saying :
"Everyone one way or another is a hypocrite"
What matters is that self assesment of your thoughts and knowing that while you are not perfect , you mean something is others life and then in turn acting correctly .
