What was I gonna do
Why so that I never knew
Will it be called playing the victim card
Even though the deadly scene did hit me hard.

Her mind was vivid
but she always wore black,
For others it unfurled negativity,
For her it kept her magnificence
in track.
She loved black
not only on clothes but on person,
Because an end to racism
begins with one.
Beauty lies within
was what she believed
The beauty of black
was all in the colour she perceived.

The sun had set. It was all dark. I was walking on the road back to home when I heard someone call my name. I turned around but the road behind me was empty...

She is another name for love,
With soul brighter than the stars above.
I wished for heaven and got her lap,
Yes it is always indeed a heavenly nap.
I looked up to thank god for her,
God would just have smiled as if saying "you're welcome dear".

Hidden behind bars
Got many scars
Those dreams she lived
In her secret hours.

Cherishing every moment she had
Every reason for happiness she would add
Preserving her beauty solemnly
In each and every dress she clad.

Yet very well she knew
Time was something that quickly flew
Those were the only hours
For her mind to leave the work and for the heart to persue.

"I will always be there for you"
Her bestfriend told her.

12 years later, she got an anonymous
donor when she needed kidney,
and thought it was a miracle.

"Yes, miracles happen" her bestfriend
winked from the next room relaxing the stitches on her stomach.

Known for cramps,
Accompanied by cravings,
It's a story of monthly sufferings.
A happy go girl is left in shock,
When a scary fellow entered without a knock,
Adolescent was her new tag,
As she woke up in her bed with a japanese flag.
Yes, it was time for her to grow up,
For her strength to develop.

IMPERFECT
I am not perfect,
Very well I know.
But you cant just fathom me,
I guess so.

I stammer and stumble
I cannot always blow a gum into a bubble
Fearing failure I get afraid
Difficult tasks I often evade.

I often get angry
Sometimes way too loud
I get lost in my world
Swirling through sky sitting on a cloud.

My height is still a short stuff
Memorising things for me is tough
My hair often turn out into a mess
Little assignments frequently give me stress.

Yet my mistakes have their own value
Making flaws is not new
Going through a way of acception and rejection
I am happy being the empress of imperfection.
