*एक निगाह में इश्क*

खुश रहने के लिए लोग बहाने ढूंढते है,
हमारे लिए तो बस आपकी एक मुस्कान ही काफी है।
इश्क को समझने के लिए लोगो को ज़माने लग जाते है,
हमारी नज़र से देखो, तो बस आपकी यह निगाहे काफी है।

"तुम्हारे साथ चाय पीना तो बस एक बहाना है,
हकीकत में तो बस, तुम्हारे साथ कुछ वक्त बिताना है।

काश हम समझा पाते तुम्हे इस दिल की गहराई को,
तब जाकर इन जंजीरों से मिलती मेरे दिल को रिहाई हो।

पर कभी-कभी कुछ बातों का राज़ रहना ही सही है,
जो यह दिल चाहता है, वह ना हो इसी में इसकी भलाई है।"

उन्हे अपना दिल देने से पहले, काश इस दिल से एक बार पूछ लिया होता,
कहीं यह टूटेगा तो नही, उसी से सुन लिया होता।
फिर ख्याल आया, कहता तो दिल भी यही,
"जान, वही करना, जो तुम्हारे दिल को लगे सही।"

ये दिल जो नही मानता, क्यूँ वही करना पड़ता है बार बार?
क्यूँ इन दिमाग वालों के आगे जाता है यह दिल हार?
सूकून की तलाश मे प्यार ढूंढता है,
जहाॅ अब कोई रह्ता नही, उसी का पता पूछता है।

सोचा था रिश्ते दिल और प्यार से निभाये जाते हैं,
फिर दूनिया ने एहसास दिलाया, यह तो मतलब से ही निभाये जाते हैं।

मुश्किल दौर मे आज एहसास हुआ,
कौन कितने दूर और कौन कितने पास हुआ।
युं तो कहने के लिए हर किसी का साथ है,
पर हकीकत मे तो, बस हम खाली हाथ है।

हमने छोड़ दिया उस दहलीज पर जाना,
जहाँ लोग सिर्फ झरोखे से देख कर मुस्कुराते है..।।

*A DREAM I'D LOVE TO DREAM AGAIN*

With the ending Dawn, the alarm clock started ringing,
I wake up to realise it's a new day beginning.

My lips were about to kiss my Prince Charming,
But the alarm made me realise, I was just dreaming.

Dreaming about someone who in reality doesn't exist,
Yet I wait to meet him as that's what my heart insists.

He is the one Who Owns My Heart,
He is the one from whom I would never want to depart.

Being the King of Hearts, he would treat me like his Queen,
And to impress me, he would daily cook a different cuisine.

We as a couple look royal and supreme,
The aura of our love make our eyes agleam.

How cruelly rang the alarm clock!
And interrupted our lovely romantic walk.

I wish this dream changes into reality,
As I believe, Miracles that do happen if desired by The Almighty.

To live in this beautiful dream I don't mind sleeping all day,
Because my dream is the only place where the Love of my Life would Forever stay.

*Mistake*

Listen to me, I am not joking,
It’s the pain in my heart which keeps poking.

Long ago I made a mistake,
Which is resulting now as my heartache.

It was the sharp arrow of Cupid,
That has made me turn into a Stupid.

Day & night I think of it,
Which in my mind has made a pit.

This is because of an Angel I know,
Who in my heart is covered in snow.

It is a sorrow that I can feel,
And there are no doctors for its quick heal.

I wish there would be some miracle to take place,
Which between us would keep no space.

But my Love, my luck is very bad,
And I would have to always remain so sad.

I wish you had some love in your heart,
Then today we would have never been apart.

Life is like a crystal ball,
That’s why I don’t blame you for all.

I know I was somewhere wrong,
So I am all alone to sing this song.

When I see the little drops of rain,
I remember my dreams, which have gone in vain.

I treasure these moments in my hand,
But when I open, they are just grains of sand.

As I stand and breathe in the open air,
I look up at the blue skies with a gleamy stare.

My heart ponders while staring at the cloudless sky,
Arousing the thoughts of freedom and an immense urge to fly.

I so wish to fly high and far away to a place that is unknown,
A beautiful place that would wash away the pains that made me groan.

This would be the destination of happiness and joy,
A place with enormous love and peace that no one could destroy.

And this is where, I wish to spend the rest of my life with you - My Love,
Holding hands and looking into each other's twinkling eyes just as the shining stars above.

It'll be just you and I, and no one else around,
And in the depth of love we both shall drown.

This seems like a beautiful dream to me, which I wish someday to come true,
And I would surely fly miles away to create and cherish the best moments that I could spend with you.
