I don’t mind if I’m stuck within the four walls of Kitchen, going through child marriage, knew no other man’s face than my husband and even getting burnt alive with my husband’s corpse.
But, I mind, seriously, when men and women are given a common platform, but no equal rights, no equal boundaries, no equal liberty and nothing in equal to a man and this is killing me from inside.

Man is almost liberal,
Anything he does for a woman is said to be sacrificial.

Woman is almost restricted,
Anything she does out of that is said to be outlawed.

Man is by nature, free-minded
Woman is by nature, reserved,
And intolerable, either her bars or his limitless skies.

మగవాడికేమో ఇంచుమించు అన్నిట్లో స్వేచ్ఛ ఉంది,
ఆడదాని కోసం ఏది నిర్భందించుకున్నా దాన్ని త్యాగం అని గొప్పగా ఎంచుతుంది సమాజం.

ఆడదానికి ఇంచుమించు అన్నిట్లో నిర్భందమే,
ఏ కారణం చేతనైనా ఏ గీత దాటినా అది బరితెగించింది అని, ఈ రోజుల్లో ఐతే అది ఆడపిల్లకే హాని అని అంటారు.

మగవాడికేమో ఏదైనా ఓర్వగలిగిన గుండె.
ఆడదానికేమో ఏదీ తట్టుకోలేని మనసు,
అది తన నిర్భందమైనా,మగవాడి స్వేచ్ఛైనా!

ఇటువంటి జీవితశైలితో, ఇటువంటి వ్యక్తిత్వాలతో చచ్చేదాక కలిసుండాలి అంటారు.

ఈ జతకి కష్ట-సుఖాలని, లాభ-నష్టాలని, ఒడిదుడుకులని,
ప్రేమ-ద్వేషాలని, కోప-తాపాలని పేరు పెడతారు.

ఏది ఎవరో?
ఏది ఎవరైతే దాన్ని త్యాగం అంటారో!
ఏది ఎవరైతే దాన్ని నిర్భందం అంటారో!
ఏది ఎవరో?!

బహుశ్రమతో దుక్కిదున్ని
దరిద్రాన్ని తరిమావు
నీ దారిద్ర్యం తీరకనే
దౌర్జన్యంగా దొరలపాలయ్యావు

ప్రాణంలా చూసుకున్న పొలం
కంటి రెప్పలా కాపాడుకున్న పైరు
నీ పానీయ భాగము కాకనే
కంట నీరు తెప్పించాయి

ఈ మన్నుపై నీ శ్వాస
ఆ మిన్నుపై నీ ఆశ
కాలంతో కనుమరుగయ్యాయి
