Maybe the reason why I don't want to believe that I don't love you anymore is because I don't want to allow myself to feel the same kinda hurt again...

With the shiny hair, the summery glow
The glossed lips and the flushed cheeks...
But there once was a version of me
Broken, Sad, messed up...
Unlovable ,unkempt and unworthy.
He took the prior
And turned it into the latter...
And that's when I found love...
When I was loved simply for existing...
And not just for the way I looked ...
So , I'm always going to put him first
Because he put me first
When everybody else put me last...
Yes I know you're in love with me,
But not with me, the version of me he created..
