Sunset

In the tranquil embrace
Of a bright crimson sky,
the dusky winds,
Carressed the dying star.

It was as if I was falling without ever reaching the end of it. In a different realm, maybe. To the point where I felt still. Where I could sense no activity, besides my heart beating against my chest. Absolute dead silence. Nothing but darkness all around. Was I really moving? I feel this sense of gravity, something pulling me down. As if being yanked by these chains of memories, down and down.
And I know you're in a better place. I don't know if you'll ever miss me like you used to, but if some day God forbid, you're in the same realm as mine. Just to look around maybe, just to get a feel of it. I suggest you look out for me, at the same place you left.

And now that you're gone,
I'll be waiting.
In the very same puddle,
For I've had memories too precious
Right here,
As my feet are going sore, and the sun is about to set.
I'm hopeful for you to lose your way,
Or rather find the right one,
And fall with a splash,
Just when I've lost all hopes,
In these shallow waters around me..
Before the sun finally sets.
Untill then, I'll be here,
In the very same puddle.

I saw the sky turn crimson.
And the chirping of birds stopped,
Restricted by the deafening silence of darkness.
Clouds masked and strangled the vast blue sky
that once,
Exemplified hope and beauty.
While, I stood there waiting
For the lightening to perish me,
To cease my existence and,
liberate myself from the
Dark agonising hell that
I created.

Mera har waqt uski zulfon ko sawaarna

Main mohabbat me uske jhinjlaane ko
mohabbat khayaal karta tha.

As the winds brushed past us,
Spreading your locks across my face.
I felt my heart throb against yours,
And my fingers enveloping yours,
In a blissful embrace.

"Jo pehle chal chuke hain ye rahen,
Kya unhe manzilen milin apni?"

I felt it rise over me, creep over my mortal remains, engulfing and absorbing every quantum of my existence in it's vast albeit gentle embrace, while I waited and waited for a wave to plunge me out of my misery. For a silver lining among the dark depths of despair to carress the scars left on my soul...
