I can't say with conviction
Who is right and who is wrong
But I do see burning streets, debris,
dead bodies on streets and the horrors of war on both sides.
No, none of you deserves any of what
you are going through.
Israel we see missiles being fired on you,
Gaza we hear your cries,
Palestine we too are devastated
to see your children die.
We can feel your fear of constantly
living under attack but
Can you sit for a moment
And see what you are doing is nothing
but a human against a human
Trying to build a palace on the dead bodies
of innocent lives.
Do you call this your paradise?
Can you forget what happened in the past
and do something to
Improve today's plight?
