I am just a stone, thrown away while people look for gems.

I wasn't pressed hard enough to crystallize beautifully.

I have not been useful to people. When I am, it is to show their hatefulness while they throw me around.

मैं भी क्या साथ में आपके बूढ़ा हों जाऊं?

अंदर बैठे तो समझ आया,
भीड़ में अकेले नहीं थे।
खुद को ही नहीं पहचानते हम।

जिसे भीड़ में खोज रहे थे,
उसे सपनों के घर छोड़ आए थे हम।

चाहते है कि सब सुने हमारी,
खुद की सुन के नकार देते है हम।

वापिस भीड़ में जाना पड़ेगा,
अकेला ही सही,
शोर गुल में खुद की आवाज़
दबाना पड़ेगा।

Cobwebs

I see my mind,
scattered with cobwebs.
They lurk in the corners,
places I don't want to go back to.
I am fine letting them be.
They don't bother me.

What if they grow?
All those problems
I would like to ignore.
They're spreading all over,
Trapping me inside out.

Lest I touch them with disgust,
All my unpleasant memories.

As a species, we've far surpassed
the daily wildlife struggle
to find food and shelter for survival.
Yet, our survival instincts persisted,
I don't know why.

Now we use the same instinct
to fight for material wealth
and everything we can live without.

शैतान का भक्त बनके
