One month already since we broke up and still it feels the same. Parting ways may be was an inexact thing. That impuissance is not helping me to get you out of my thoughts. Dayjobs assigned with tough piles of stuff to be completed but letting you go from me is the hardest of everything. Percepting what made us to be apart makes no sense for me.
Walking back to the bygone days, when you held my hands and us together tangled to the core of our hearts only looking at each others eyes. Those adorable eyes of yours constantly watching out every detail on my face would suddenly question, " How can you be so beautiful my dear?" And I as always blushes and break our eye-to-eye conversation. You never liked when I did that. You then held me more closer and gently caressing my golden brown hairs slightly would whisper, "I love you. Look at my eyes." Suddenly that whooshing air around my ears giving out a romantic aura perfects the moment.
THEN was letting me go so easy? You said nothing would work out and left for somewhere that is out of way for me. Now everyone tells me to erase you from me but can I? Can I be only me and not us so easily?

मौका देती है ना रात
हमें ख्यालों में खोने का
नए ख़्वाब बुनने का
कुछ पलों को यादों
में फिरसे जीने का
अपनी खामोशियों में
खुद से ही बातें करने का
कई सवालों का जवाब
ख़ुद में ही ढूंढ लेने का
मौका देती है ना रात
हमें... हमसे ही मिलने का
