कांटे ना हों, राहों में, इसकी उम्मीद कम रखना,
हौसलो की लौ को तुम नाउम्मीद कम रखना।
मुश्किलें देगा, तो रास्ते भी जगमगाएगा वो,
बिना किए, पाने की चाह, साजिद कम रखना।

आज फिर से निकल रहा हुँ उन्हें मनाने
के काश ये कोशिश सफल हो जाए.
उनका तो पता नहीं...
पर आज भी मुझे उनकी ज़रूरत है
इस ज़िन्दगी के सफ़र में
