Yours,
Theirs,
Society's,
and
God's.

The point is to make
sure that yours, is
parallel to God's.

It's a strange place between
letting your mind run free
and hitting a shut down to be thoughtless,
between allowing your pain to breathe
and questioning what you feel,
between righting your wrongs
and the need to blame it all on the world,
between the urge to finish this poem
and not knowing how.
I live there now.

Maybe this time
I'll leave you with my thoughts
half baked into sentences
that make no sense.

Maybe you'll know which side to pick.

But, what if

Your side
Are the same?
Does that
Make it
Correct?
Or,
Just perfect?

Even though we were the perfect match,
we never understood each other completely because we always showed each other the wrong side of the tape which was not supposed to play between us.
