क्या यही इस युग का शहर है?

ये असंख्य दृष्टियाँ, ये असंख्य पुतलियाँ
किन्तु किसी एक में भी मैं नहीं।
ये भीड़ गतिमान है,सब में कितना अभिमान है।
किन्तु मैं यहाँ किसी का भी परिचित नहीं।
ये ऊँची इमारतें,ऊँचाई तक जाती सीढ़िया।
किन्तु किसी एक खण्ड पर भी मेरा आश्रय नहीं।
ये कोलाहल से घिरा प्रार्थनाघर,इसमें संतोष किधर?
किन्तु सब के संतोष को आँकना मेरा अधिकार नहीं।
यह गुत्थी जटिल लगी मुझे। ये कैसा नगर है?
क्या यही मेरी आकांक्षा थी? क्या यही इस युग का शहर है?

मैं यात्री वाहन में आया था सुदूर एक छोर से।
किन्तु मेरी मिट्टी की महक,यहाँ सड़कों में नहीं।
मैं अपने नेत्रों को स्वप्न दर्शन कराने आया था।
किन्तु यहाँ किसी भी दृश्य का आरम्भ नहीं,अंत नहीं।
मैं मित्रों से कह कर आया था,नवयुग से मिलकर आऊँगा।
किन्तु व्यस्त सभी,पास इनके समय नहीं।
वही चक्षु, वही ओठ,वही अंग,सब वही।
समान आकृति सर्वत्र है,किन्तु आचरण में समरूपता नहीं।
प्रत्येक मानव कृत्रिम यहाँ। ये कैसा भँवर है?
यह कैसी प्रगति है? क्या यही इस युग का शहर है?

आया जिस छोर से,वह मात्र एक ग्राम सही।
आया जिस छोर से,उच्च सुविधा का नाम नहीं।
किन्तु मन की तृप्ति वहीं, मेरे जीवन की तृप्ति वहीं।
शुद्ध वायु में चरते मेरे स्वास के अंत पर भी मुक्ति वहीं।
मेरी स्मृति बंधित मेरे ग्राम से,वही मेरा घर है।
मोह भंग आधुनिकता से, क्या यही इस युग का शहर है?(गीतिका चलाल)

Walking away with rush she got her hair caught in a tree and was stuck there for 15 minutes.

Every rose has a thorn.
Every yearning has a rush.
Like that song, we sung the other
day.
Half forgotten lyrics, several incorrect
melodies and yet such precision.
Given a chance, we'd never actually get
rid of the thorns adorning a rose.
We'd much rather have the trail
of red ,bleed out of our finger tips.
We'd much rather leave that song
incomplete and sing it with the same
incoherence the next time.

Life is not a race, life is a journey
If you rush, you will miss to feel it's beauty ( You can't enjoy it fully).
