AUTUMN
All trees denied the color green,
and changed to their party dress code.
Some wore red or yellow or orange and
the birds sang their saddened ode.
Maples looked so loved and serene,
to match with the seasons mood.
This time of the year,
if you walk by the woods,
you’ll say it’s all on fire.
But take a closer look
or ask the running brook;
It will say it’s the fun they desire.
The winds now sweep the forest floor,
to make a carpet all will adore.
Borrowed colors from the rainbows,
by knocking at their door.
It’s not their time to show up,
so the clouds didn’t roar.
All seasons are good but,
Autumn is the best.
As it’s time of change,
change is always for the best.
All trees will bloom again for sure,
After a nap and little rest!!

The romance of the ocean and the waves is exceptional.
The ocean with it’s depth and vastness is always steadfast for its beloved waters.
The waves though,
ummm.... are very moody...
They bounce and dance on the celestial tunes, party around the beaches;
Sometimes,extremely fierce and angry.
But ultimately they retreat to the love of their life and the ocean is there with it’s wide bosom to lovingly welcome them back after watching them play the whole day long.
And together they retire ......blissfully !!-

In the depths of a starry night,
with a book, I fixed a date,
The moon just smiled at me,
stars winked and said, “that’s great!!”
With a pillow and cafe waft...
I arched with my book aloft,
down the rabbit hole of words....
landed on some feathers soft!!
On the back of the birdie strong,
I sang a princess song...
Chasing some dragons off...
I met my prince at dawn!!!
I was off to a land of dew...
But my name was called and I knew..
I’m called from a land of blues...
to wrap my duties due!!!
Crawling out of the book so dear ..
I’m back to the real, that I fear!!!
a promise in my heart, I’ll rear;
will be back in my book .....
