Born from a bare stalk into a mounting sun
when iron ploughs turn the earth around,
my son rolls like me on balls of fibers spun
with a hint of moss running the ground.
An estuary flows aloud wandering the turns
we walk the waves and skip all allowed bounds,
playing tag across thoughts and dreams undone
there is this tiny space in the sky that we found.
