Maybe,
we were hurrying with our words
hence, punctuations came in to teach us patience.

He came with an
exclamation!
And ended up with a
full stop.




But,
He was one of the best
"Quotation"
To my every single
Interrogation.

A perfect sentence is bliss to read.

It saves you from commas and semicolons.

One day, all the punctuation marks gathered in a sentence for a meeting. It all started with fullstop asking to stop but comma and semicolon were adamant and continued the sentence. Meanwhile, question mark and exclaimatory mark were happily doling the crown in place of fullstop once in a while. And then came the powerful (they thought so) quotations as a competition to prove their ruling power.

Alphabets found their new friends. Words, their new neighbors. Meanwhile, sentence enjoyed this unity in diversity.

We wish to tame our poetry
with subjugating conjunctions
and curtailing punctuations
ignorant of
the fathomless passion it unfurls
and myriad of perceptions it instigates
in those untamed minds

Weary from the incessant deceits
of unrealized dreams,
in the dusky quiescence,
enshrouded by the twilight
behind the waning horizon,
these eyes await
Not to punctuate the clauses of life
but sanguinely cascade
rivulets of new dreams
and spritz them with the hues of
umpteen spectra
in those unexplored terrains.

Sometimes, people have to make peace with the question marks rather than the full stops.

- Because full stops are where our life ends.
