आम के आम और गुठलियों के भी दाम मिलते हैं,,
कभी खरबूजे, खरबूजे को देख कर रंग बदलते हैं,
कोई अपनी डेढ़ चावल की खिचड़ी पकाता है,
और कोई दाल भात में मूसलचंद बन जाता है,
कभी तो मुफलिसी में जब आटा गीला होता है,
तब आटे दाल का भाव मालूम पड़ जाता है,
पर क्भी तो गेंहू के साथ, घुन भी पिस जाता है,
कभी आंखे मिलती है, कभी आंखे टकराती है,
और फिर आँखों आँखों में बात हो जाती है,
बाद में तारे गिन गिन कर सारी रात कटती है,
आंखे झुकते ही रात करवट बदल कर बीतती है,
फिर शादी की बात सुन, मन में लड्डू फूटते है,
और शादी के बाद, दोनों हाथों में लड्डू आते हैं,
शादी बूरे के लड्डू हैं, जिसने खाए वो पछताए,
और जिसने नहीं खाए, वो भी पछताते हैं,
गुड़ खाते हैं और गुलगुले से परहेज करते हैं,
और फिर कभी गुड़ का गोबर कर बैठते हैं,
कभी तिल का ताड़, कभी राई का पहाड़ बनता है,
किसी के दांत दूध के हैं तो कई दूध के धुले हैं,
किसी को छटी का दूध याद आ जाता है,
दूध का जला छाछ को भी फूंक फूंक पीता है,
कोई जलेबी की तरह सीधा है, कोई टेढ़ी खीर है,
ऊंट के मुंह मे जीरा, किसी के मुंह में घी शक्कर है!

यंहा सभी गूंगे बहरे है, ये सब हिंदी के मुहावरे हैं!
