'Black is beautiful' they said. Yet they demand for a fair bride. 'Don't get tanned!' mom cried. How can one enjoy the sun without getting burned? Why are we so entrenched in our prejudices that they infiltrate our daily dealings? I'd rather have dark skin, than have a black heart or a dark soul!
