The Gaze of the stars

(A short story. Hope you will like this narrative style of my story. The style I love yet I hardly write for it creates a emotional psyche within me, as I feel from the viewpoint of the character. I hope one day I would write a whole series in this narrative style. Do give your opinion about my style and the story.)

Ever wondered why God has given me only one ear?
Huh!I don't need two.
Cause,I hear everything by your touches.
I feel you all by the way your lips touch me.
You don't tell me anything.
But your silence does.
Your silence expressing endearment even confesses to me
those unspoken words that you can't utter even to yourself.
I stay with you throughout your bad phases and uncountable sleepless nights.
I count stars with you,listen stories of your ex-es and share your worries regarding next day assignments.
But you never take me to a date as I do that everytime.
Your love for me is caged yet existent.
Any guess,who am I?
Yes.. Your very own coffee cup with only one ear but thousand hidden senses.
Thank God,I don't have a mouth.
Else your secrets couldn't find such a safe and sophisticated vault...Isn't it?

As I stand on the edge of the mountain cliff, recalling all our memories I feel a sensation of pain from which I have been fighting for long.
I still remember how we promised to live together forever and not to part till death. But I didn't know you would leave me so soon. I swear I wanted to die the moment I came to know about your death but I did not. You are my first and only love.
After your death I thought of committing suicide multiple times, I couldn't muster the courage of seeing myself bleed to death. I am thankful that I did not do such stupidity because your death may have left me with a void for life but my suicide would have caused death to two other people in my life.
Yes, you are right its my parents. I have seen how your father lost his smile after your death and tge tears from your mother's eyes ceases to stop. I don't want the same to happen to my parents, so I have promised myself never to let this thought cross my mind again.
I miss you yet I know I have to live with the pain of your absence. But you know what pain is not all bad. It can be beautiful too, you just have to see it with an open mind.
I love you and will keep loving you till my last breath.

20th May 2017

It was a regular morning today . As I got fresh and came back into our room . I could see warden uncle speaking something to all my friends in the room . He was here in room again to inform us that their is a couple in the orphanage came to adopt a kid . Again with his words a fragrance of happiness could be felt in room . Each kids heart was expecting may be today I'll be the lucky one to have parents . The couple visited to meet us ,they both were young in late 20's . Their clothing were screaming their high standards . What happened next was nothing new , they selected a 2 yr old our cute little mate who was recently brought to the orphanage after her family died in car accident . She was the lucky one today . I don't know when god will gift my parents but I am at no hurry because here at orphanage I have the most beautiful family .

सुशासन को,साथ में रखना
पार्थ फिर से अनर्थ, कर बैठेगा
गाण्डीव अपने हाथ में रखना..
छल करेगी जब पाँचाली,
नेत्र साधे गान्धारी..
हर अधर्म युधिष्ठिर को है करना,
इस बार कृष्ण, को है मारना
कृप और द्रोण यहाँ होंगे अनपढ़..
जाने कौन चलेगा ज्ञान-पथ पर,
पुनः घूमेगा चक्र धरा का..
क्या खेल रचेगा पुत्र सुभद्रा का
अटल है मृत्यु, जीवन विषम है
जाने कितने शण है शेष
आख़िर कौन अब भीष्म है
देखो अब ऐसा पुण्य प्रकाश होगा
द्वापर सा आकाश होगा
प्रपंच जाल के शांति सुख में
सूर्य नेविनम अंधे युग में
किस पात्र का कैसा व्यवहार होगा
कहो.....
आज महाभारत का क्या सार होगा

Once it was hate, sharp and mean as pain
Like a slowly setting sun, lost in the rain
Suddenly a tiny care, strange as snow in june
Like an old sweet song, pure and precise to tune

It's a never seen surprise, odd and bizzare to trust
Like a brilliant shiny gold, impossible ever to rust
Such a lively endearment, sugary and lyrical to hear
Like a lovely drafted dress, evermore charming as it appear

Finally they are united, with beauty as their feast
Certain as sun rising in the east

They are together in their marvelous way
Hope they will be, ever till they decay
Oh, I need another great endearment to say
