Or is it just my imagination birthed
from the lobes of my cerebral hemispheres?
I wonder and I ponder.....

Stardust,
As the name suggests,
A cloud of dust found betwixt
the silvery stars that glisten,
embellishing the somber moonless nights,
Actually seems to reside everywhere,
Amidst the fissures of our medulla,
In Our Scarlet RBCs,
Our roseate skin,
Our marmalade minds,
Our atrial septums,
In our pupils,
And each & everywhere.....

In a way
to release aggression,
we are gathered here today.
I almost feel sorry
for the unicorn guy.
The children cheer and run to collect
all his obnoxious (fun) inner stuffing spilt,
as the poor guy bursts.
Slicing him open
was
the blindfolded man's job.
Doesn't matter if I object to it,
It's a game nonetheless,
All the hitting and breaking.
Even if it teaches them violence,
They hung him there
like a piñata at a party,
for the children.
Entertainment,
they call it.

Staying's a verb, more temporary than it lets on;

Sounds like it has 'leaving' hot on its heels.

But when you tell me you'll see me around,

The phrase in itself is reassuringly unbound by time,

It talks of the now and of the later,

And shows me a picture of you in both.

'See you around' could be our 'Okay', I guess.
